Fabian Feichter presents his work at the Civic Gallery in Bressanone, where visitors are greeted by a carpet of fog. As they wander through the gallery, they encounter tall towers emerging through the mist here and there. Gradually, sculptures molded from various materials come into view. These evoke associations with organic structures, architectural forms, or landscapes seen from above. Just when visitors think they recognize something familiar in the mist, another cloud of gray-white water droplets rolls in, dissolving everything into obscurity—like a fading memory.
Fabian Feichter is an installation and performance artist, as well as a musician. His exhibition at the Civic Gallery, held as part of the Water Light Festival, repeatedly delves into the theme of water and its various states. Feichter's works have included a glacier transformed into a kebab skewer, artificial ice in a hotel room, surrogate snow from a popcorn machine, and three-dimensional molds of different lakes. The exhibition also features a video work by artist Youlee Ku, with sound design by Fabian Feichter.
During the Water Light Festival and throughout the exhibition, Feichter's installation Everything Loose can also be admired at the Lasserhaus.
