"Dove una volta c'era il mare": Contemporary art from the Dolomites in Instanbul

Following the successful exhibition in Ankara in 2023 and in Bodrum in 2024, "Dove una volta c'era il mare" can be seen at the Elgiz Museum in Instanbul. Eleven artists were invited for this special show: Julia Bornefeld, Aron Demetz, Arnold Mario Dall'O, Christine Gallmetzer, Wil-ma Kammerer, Hubert Kostner, Sissa Micheli, Robert Pan, Peter Senoner, Barbara Tavella and Gustav Willeit. In various forms of artistic expression such as sculpture, painting, photography and object art, they present the diverse art scene of South Tyrol in Turkey. Dove una volta c'era il mare" tells the story of the formation of the Dolomites and examines the links between the evolutionary development of the habitat and the creative process of creation in art.
